A bit about me

About Me

I’m a PGA Qualified Golf Professional based at Sevenoaks Golf Studio and Director of Golf at Sweetwoods Golf Club, Sussex. Since 2008, I’ve been coaching golfers of all abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned players. My passion lies in helping people unlock their full potential by teaching them to truly understand their swing—and more importantly, how to self-diagnose when things go off track. By developing a repeatable, easy-to-execute swing, golf becomes not only more consistent but also far more enjoyable.

I believe golf coaching should never be one-size-fits-all. People play for many different reasons, and the key to improvement is recognizing individuality. My approach is to understand each player’s natural movements before focusing on the areas that matter most. Whether your goal is lowering your handicap, finding more consistency, or simply enjoying the game, I’ll guide you toward achieving your personal objectives.

My Coaching Philosophy

Every lesson is designed around your individual requirements. We’ll begin by assessing your strengths and weaknesses before creating a structured plan to help you progress. Whether you’re picking up a club for the very first time or aiming to take your game to the next level, I’m confident my coaching will give you the tools to succeed.

I’ve been told my coaching style is clear, passionate, and uncomplicated. I focus on golf’s core fundamentals and building a simple, repeatable swing that you can rely on for years to come. Over the years, I’ve coached hundreds of players—ranging from professionals to complete beginners—and nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing students enjoy their golf more than ever before.

My Playing Experience

Having first picked up a club at the age of three, I knew from an early age that I wanted a career in golf. Over the past 12 years, I’ve combined coaching with competing, playing in Pro-Am events and multiple Tours. My playing background includes the Challenge Tour, Alps Tour, EuroPro Tour, Asian ADT Tour, and PGA events, giving me a wealth of experience to draw on when helping students with both the technical and mental sides of the game.

Independent Equipment Advice

The right equipment can make a world of difference. I keep up to date with the latest innovations in golf technology—from the TaylorMade Carbonface technology to the Callaway Elyte AI—and know firsthand how properly fitted clubs can improve performance. I regularly advise players on equipment choices, custom fitting, and specifications to ensure they get the very best out of their game.
